About this policy
This policy applies to the MOMBAT iOS app and this website. MOMBAT helps parents and caregivers record baby activities and create photo memories. We believe those moments are personal, so the app is designed to keep the information you enter on your device.
Information in the app
You may choose to add activity records such as feeding, sleep, and diaper changes; notes; and photos and other details in saved memories. This information is stored locally on your device. MOMBAT does not collect or receive it on a server.
Analytics, tracking, and sharing
MOMBAT does not use analytics or sell or share your app content with third parties. We do not receive the activity entries, notes, or memories you create in the app.
Photos and device permissions
If you choose to add photos to a memory, the app uses the access you grant through iOS for that purpose. You can review or change app permissions in your device settings. Photos you add to MOMBAT remain part of the information stored on your device.
Storage, security, and deletion
Your MOMBAT content is stored on your device, and its security depends in part on your device's security settings. Use a device passcode and keep iOS up to date. You can remove information using available app or device controls. If you delete the app, iOS may handle app data and backups according to your device settings; check your iOS backup settings if you want to remove backup copies too.
This website
This static website is hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information about website requests as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. MOMBAT does not add analytics or advertising trackers to this website.
Children's privacy
MOMBAT is intended for parents and caregivers, not for children to use directly. The app does not ask children to provide personal information, and the information adults add about a baby remains on their device.
Changes to this policy
If our privacy practices change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Please check this page from time to time for the latest information.
